On the 11th of November, much of London (and the world) came to a standstill at 11.00am.
According to the news broadcast on London radio station Magic FM at 7.30am that morning, the 11th of Nov 2009, they actually said . . .
“London Bridge will be raised as a mark of respect”
Now that would have been a sight to see! Or did they mean Tower Bridge?
