There are two types of people

I have, today, been to quite an exciting and entertaining meeting of the London Blog Club where a strange ranty lady extolled the virtues of being strange and ranty and a lady. Unfortunately, I fail to qualify on all three counts.
But I did, in a roundabout way, learn a lot about communication.

Kings Cross is going up in the world and I was privileged, recently, to have a look around The Guardian’s new head office at Kings Place. Their move from the old Farringdon Road HQ is practically complete.
To celebrate their newly acquired jewel, they have kindly agreed to support Barcamp London 6 which is taking place over the weekend of 28/29 March 2009. Now . . . what is a Barcamp I hear you ask? Well, it’s just what it sounds like . . . you go and camp in a …

Would your business benefit from the delivery of a powerful message? Who do you know who has presence? If you walked into a busy room, how many people would notice? If Alan Sugar walked into a busy room, how many people would notice? OK, so some people just have it, and the rest of us have to learn it.
And when you speak, do people stop and listen? Nowadays, everyone stops and listens when I speak. It wasn’t always like that and I have had to learn from experience. Ten years …
