I bought a cheap Acer last year, because it came with Windows XP and it was just about the only machine I could find with a big screen and none of this new fangled dual OS taking up valuable disk space. I simply am not interested in Vista.
Anyway, the Acer has a mouse pad with a mind of its own. So I use a USB mouse. Does your laptop have a post it note sellotaped to it?
